Dear Parents/Guardians:
Congratulations on parenting a graduating senior whose academic performance qualifies her/him for scholarship consideration! Please ensure that your senior has met all of the requirements. The completed scholarship application packet must consist of the following:
- a completed scholarship application
- an official high school transcript embossed with the school’s seal
- an official copy of ACT/SAT test scores
- two typed letters of recommendation from leaders such as principals, teachers, school counselors, mentors, or community or religious leaders (no family members)
- a resumé that highlights educational background, work/volunteer history, extracurricular activities, honors, skills, etc.
- a typed 500-word essay addressing the 2026 prompt: What do you think the biggest challenges are for your generation and what have you done or plan to do to change and overcome them?
- a professional quality photograph; and
- the school counselor’s
evaluation form.
We thank you for assisting your graduating senior in the application process. All materials must be submitted online on or before June 5, 2026. School Counselor's Evaluation forms and transcripts can be uploaded on the Ivy Center of Nashville Scholarship website.

Application Check List

- Incomplete and late application packets will not be considered.
- Please ensure your application packet includes the following:
- Online scholarship application
- 500-word essay addressing the 2026 prompt: What do you think the biggest challenges are for your generation and what have you done or plan to do to change and overcome them?
- Official high school transcript - The transcript must be uploaded by the School Counselor to the TICFN Scholarship site and should include ACT/SAT test scores.
- Resumé - The resumé should highlight educational background, work/volunteer history, extracurricular activities, honors, skills, etc.
- Two letters of recommendation - Each letter must be uploaded to the Ivy Center of Nashville scholarship site. The recommenders may be principals, teachers, counselors, mentors, or community or religious leaders. You may not use family members as recommenders.
